Captain Donny has been on the water his entire life and exclusively in Venice after graduating from Louisiana Tech University in 1999. While learning all of the backwaters of the Mississippi River Delta well before Google Earth was around, Capt Donny was a highly competitive bass fisherman on the local circuits. Fishing tournaments from Morgan City, LA to Pearl River, Ms and everywhere in between, he posted numerous victories and top 5 finishes and has brought that same competitive spirit to the brackish marsh to hunt down redfish, sheepshead, speckled trout, flounder, and snapper!

Captain Donny’s main focus is total customer satisfaction. Zipping down the river in his spacious and comfortable BlackJack 256 powered by a Mercury 350 Verado, he likes to give a tour guide history lesson of our beloved wetlands - Pointing out wildlife, native grasses and Roseau canes, constant dredging of passes, sand bars just below the surface, Pilottown, and beyond. He wants to share his love of the marsh with you... and of course, fill your box with fish!

 

Tiger’s Den Charters is full-service and family-friendly. We clean and bag the fillets for you and can even have sandwiches and snacks for your breaks in between catching fish.  Just remember to bring an ice chest for the ride home.
We have several experienced and knowledgeable captains to assist our large groups requiring multiple boats as well.
